Are Front Range winds changing? Teacher workshop on Shifting Winds classroom curriculum

At the foot of the Rocky Mountains, strong windstorms are a common weather event. Scientists have been tracking windstorms and are trying to answer the question “Are wind patterns changing as the climate warms?” The answer may lead to better communication to the public about changing conditions and hazardous wind storm events.

Join us for an online workshop designed specifically for educators! This workshop will introduce you to the Shifting Winds curriculum and provide you with resources to enhance your teaching of weather, wind, and local phenomena. Explore the impacts of damaging winds on our communities and gain practical knowledge to engage your students with data. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow educators and expand your teaching toolkit.
