The Future of Forests at Rocky Mountain National Park
Calling all middle and high school science teachers! Engage with The Future of Forests unit and explore fire-affected areas across Rocky Mountain National Park in this 3-day, 2-night professional development event! Participants will spend the mornings engaging with The Future of Forests unit (facilitated by curriculum developer Jon Griffith) and then head out into the Rocky Mountain National Park with park rangers in the afternoon to observe and study the effects of wildfire on the landscape. This event is FREE to attend and participants will have the option to purchase one graduate credit from the University of Colorado Boulder ($80).
