CIRES Education and Outreach is partnering with the Mountain Studies Institute for a one-day teacher professional development workshop for secondary science teachers to learn about hazards affecting Coloradoans; floods, wildfires, extreme heat and drought.
Improv workshop for a group of high school students participating in a CU Science Discovery summer research program. The focus of this workshop is on communication and collaboration skills for science.
Middle and High school students learn about climate effects on their communities in Puerto Rico through filmmaking. Student interview scientists, business owners and other community members to explore the intersection of climate and community.
Katie Boyd from CLEAN will attend this conference and present about CLEAN. She will have a poster presentation as well as a spot in a share-a-thon to help spread the word about using CLEAN to teach about climate and energy topics.
