Finding Her People, Place and Purpose

Leah Shipley, a first-generation college student, overcame a challenging upbringing to enroll at Front Range Community College (FRCC). Through TRIO Student Support Services, she received mentorship, scholarships, and research opportunities, including an internship at NOAA. She later became a TRIO peer mentor, helping other students navigate college. Now graduating, she plans to pursue a degree in meteorology.

Discovering, Exploring, and Sharing Climate Resources - Webinar Series

CLEAN and ISKME are partnering to bring together climate researchers, K-12 educators, and climate literacy resources to build a community of iterative leaders. This series of interactive webinars in March and April is designed to increase knowledge of climate literacy and support the open sharing of resources and the adaptations that educators make for their local students.
