Finding Her People, Place and Purpose
Leah Shipley, a first-generation college student, overcame a challenging upbringing to enroll at Front Range Community College (FRCC). Through TRIO Student Support Services, she received mentorship, scholarships, and research opportunities, including an internship at NOAA. She later became a TRIO peer mentor, helping other students navigate college. Now graduating, she plans to pursue a degree in meteorology.

CLEAN and ISKME are partnering to bring together climate researchers, K-12 educators, and climate literacy resources to build a community of iterative leaders.
