Bouncing Forward from the Marshall Fire Workshop: Strategies to Support Mental Health in Teaching Climate Science Curriculum

Calling teachers in the Boulder Valley School District: the HEART Force Program (NOAA supported project run out of CIRES Education & Outreach) and the Earth Force Program (FEMA-funded) are offering professional learning to support educators and their students that are impacted by climate-related natural hazards, such as the Marshall Fire.

RISE Challenge Colorado: Info Session w/Earth Force & HEART Force

This session will provide an overview of the RISE Challenge CO program, key resources and how to get started on a student-led civic action project designed to create resilience against natural hazards in their community. We will be joined by our partners at HEART Force, who provide classroom ready lessons to introduce natural hazards to students.
