Ryan Vachon, filmmaker and research associate at CEEE, attended the Sustainable Research + Innovations (SRI) Congress in Chicago, Illinois, where he helped facilitate a filmmaking workshop titled “Community-Centric Storytelling and Filmmaking” as a representative of the Navigating the New Arctic Community Office. The workshop team included film producers, educators, Indigenous community leaders, and climate experts.

The session was a great success, drawing over 27 attendees and generating strong interest in both the value of different ways of knowing and in practical approaches for sharing place-based stories.
