Help launch the next generation of STEM leaders

Help launch the next generation of STEM leaders

RECCS has spent over 10 years providing community college students with hands-on research skills and experience while strengthening their confidence in science. Students leave RECCS feeling more assured in their scientific abilities and ready to pursue a career in STEM. Your donations help us provide mentoring, workshops, and professional development for students. Your support also helps cover essential conference expenses such as travel, registration fees, and more.

Hear From Our Participants

Their experiences speak for themselves. When you hear our cohorts share their stories, you’ll see RECCS students describe how the program strengthened their confidence, sharpened their research skills, and helped them feel a true sense of belonging in science.

In addition to teaching me how to be a scientist and providing an opportunity to do research, RECCS led me to my identity as a scientist… I feel like a whole person now as a scientist-Former RECCS Participant

RECCS program not only improved my research experience, but it also gave me an opportunity to learn how to communicate with my peers and mentors. I gained communication skills, independent research skills, creating scatter plots, which were very difficult for me in the beginning of my project, and making a professional poster as well. -Former RECCS Participant
