Biography

Ethan Sanchez (he/him) is an undergraduate student assistant for the Polar Science Early Career Community Office (PSECCO). Ethan grew up in Albuquerque, NM where he is currently pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science at the University of New Mexico. His undergraduate thesis focuses on the composition of Antarctic microbial mats. He was previously involved in a STEM outreach program with the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology that provided fabrication lab support for researchers, scientists, and a broad community. Ethan is eager to provide support and tools for researchers and to help create welcoming environments for all who choose to pursue a career in STEM.
