Karla is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with B.A.s in Sociology and Environmental Studies. She supports various CIRES CEEE programs including research and evaluation and RECCS. Her interests focus on the intersection of climate and society as well as learning how environmental issues impact diverse communities. She is passionate about the environmental justice movement and aims to look at climate topics from a social justice perspective.
