Jennifer Balch is a Professor of Geography at the University of Colorado Boulder, Director of the Earth Lab, and Fellow at CIRES. The Earth Lab's work focuses on the use of data in analytics and education to better understand how we can adapt to climate change. Dr. Balch's work explores how ecosystem dynamics control the fire cycle.
