Explore Arctic research with the NNA Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU), a paid program for Alaska undergraduate students.

The NNA REU is a paid research program for undergraduate students from Alaska communities, focused on Arctic environmental science and climate change. This unique experience integrates Indigenous and Western knowledge while providing mentorship, hands-on research, and the opportunity to attend the NNA Annual Community Meeting. Participants will analyze Arctic community data, engage with experts, and present their findings.

The program runs August 11 - 13 (online) and  September 13 - September 18 (in-person) with a $1,200 stipend, covered travel, and undergraduate-level credit from CU Boulder. No prior research experience is needed!
