High school students in the Upward Bound Math Science program at Trinidad State Junior College from southern Colorado and New Mexico will visit CU to learn about climate change effects through creating their own films.

iCLEEN Workshop in Idaho

During this Idaho-based regional workshop about climate education, Katie Boyd will present about CLEAN. She will demonstrate to teachers how they can use the CLEAN Collection and Teaching Guidance pages to help bring climate and energy topics into their classrooms.

Bridge program

Students from Citrus College in California are visiting Boulder to explore the science of wildfires. They will be working with CIRES scientists and staff to examine and compare California’s and Colorado’s wildfires.

CLEAN Review Camp

12 Scientists and Educators will meet to discuss and review resources that have been established as possible additions to the CLEAN Collection. They will determine which of these resources are of high enough quality to be cataloged into the resource database.

ITEST PI meeting

The STEM Learning and Research Center (STELAR) at the National Science Foundation is putting on their annual ITEST Principle Investigator and Evaluator Summit on June 13-14th in Alexandria, VA. The theme of the event is “Living, Learning, and Working in the Digital Age.”
