NSTA Science Scope Publication: From Windy Day Stories to Wind Farms of the Future

Resilient Futures Teacher Workshop

Join us for a three-day teacher workshop in June, where you’ll get to engage with a variety of classroom-ready curricula from the Center for Education, Engagement, and Evaluation (CEEE), formerly known as CIRES Education & Outreach.

HEART Force Veteran Teacher Refresher Workshop

Have you participated in a HEART Force workshop before? Would you like to learn about the latest developments in the program? Join us to explore new lessons that incorporate trauma-informed practices, activities that guide students toward action projects, and a lesson that helps students understand why certain populations may be more vulnerable to hazards. We will also showcase resilience action projects that students have completed and explain how you can use your HEART Force unit to help students qualify for a Seal of Climate Literacy on their diploma!

Supporting Youth Agency through Climate Education: Classroom ready teaching materials and support for educators and students

Join us for a 30 min webinar to learn about effective climate change education resources, materials and strategies focusing on developing youth and educator agency and processing climate emotions in classrooms. A sense of agency helps students envision and work toward a sustainable future and overcome the anxiety and grief often associated with climate change. The award-winning Climate Literacy and Energy Awareness Network (CLEANet.org) offers resources, teaching guidance, and a network of support.
